Lauren + Scott
One of the most unique aspects of Lauren and Scott’s wedding photography was my decision to blend digital and analog photography. While digital cameras are great for capturing high-resolution images in real-time, there’s something timeless and artistic about analog photography. The grainy texture, the softness of the focus, and the natural colors produced by film all contribute to an aesthetic that can’t be replicated digitally.
The first gallery are all the film scans. Images were taken with a Nikon F100 and Nikon 58mm F1.4G. Film stock was Portra 400 and 160.
Lauren and Scott’s wedding at El Cerro in Vieques was not only a celebration of their love but also a reminder of why I love what I do. The combination of digital and analog photography allowed me to create a diverse and memorable collection of images that truly captured the essence of their day.
If you’re considering a destination wedding in Puerto Rico, Vieques and El Cerro should be at the top of your list. The island’s beauty, combined with the timeless appeal of both digital and analog photography, will ensure that your memories are captured in the most meaningful way possible.
Below are the images taken on various digital cameras throughout the day.
